I don't make too many posts about it, but I guess I should (although it does clutter up the blog. But that's what labels are for, if I can use them properly)
But yes, v0.5 is now available and you can get it in the tools section.
v0.5 comes with automated texture creation functionality. It's very simple and uses ImageMagick to do it.
Basically, some materials do not use external textures cause they're just a solid color anyways. However SB3U doesn't support this so you will need to assign an external texture to it. The "Create MQO Texture" function parses the MQO normally, but creates textures for any materials that do not have any textures associated with it based on their color values.
