I am still having difficulty importing characters because there doesn't seem to be an easy way to do it.
I've been thinking of doing a straight xx file replace and then renaming frames and bones that the lst files are looking for.
Though I've been playing around with macros to make it easier to create new maps and exporting models/textures from other games so I never got around to trying out my idea.
Did you ever released characters from other games?

Man, i can't install any of that monsters characters! i do not know how! Can you make an easy intaller?
