Working with a full nude body

Re-visiting the issue I had with my jacket mod, it seems like my approach was wrong.

The better way to deal with this is to construct a full skeleton, and then use for bone copying.

Cutting meshes

I can't do art, and I can't do 3D art. But I can cut and paste and delete stuff...
But I ran into the same problem I ran into awhile ago when I was doing some clothing mods...cutting meshes! I wonder how I can deal with it.

Less undoing, less mistakes

Just a small tip for those that don't know.

Whenever I mod clothes, I tend to include a custom "body" and "arms" mesh.
Rather than try to cover up any of the body parts, why not just delete the parts that won't be seen anyways? It definitely makes it easier, and as long as you give the illusion that your model is still proportional, it should be fine for most people.

Systematic method to clothes modding - part 2

This is the second part to my fairly simple method to modding clothes. Part 1 can be found here. The goal of this guide is to allow you to have something to show after, possibly, a couple hours of work. Successfully accomplishing something may provide you with further insight and more motivation to actually do it, and so we go through the basics that will just get your stuff working.

AG3 Clothing editor

Recently I came across the clothing editor while browsing through the scratchpad wiki and it sounds like a nice tool for creating clothes quickly. Planning to install it and give it a try, seeing whether I can export the meshes to put them on Yuusha characters. If all goes well, then I might start using that to build clothing sets.

Systematic method to clothes modding - part 1

This is a fairly basic clothes modding guide that I developed while I was doing my own clothes modding (see Miko Viara). The goal behind this method is to make the modding process as easy as possible because I know we probably won't get things right the first time (or even the second or third even if you're an expert). There will be pictures later. Maybe.

Basic clothing mods: bones and meshes

This post will eventually discuss the relationship between bones and meshes, which basically dictate whether your mods will work the way you want them to.
